Viana do Castelo

Barcelos is a medieval walled town. Worthy of a visit are the Ceramics Museum, the largest market in Portugal, and walking tours around the ancient Jewish quarter or in the streets with medieval houses and Baroque manors. For more information please click here.
Braga is 45 minutes away and is Portugal’s third-largest city. It is an elegant town laced with ancient narrow lanes closed to vehicles, strewn with plazas and a splendid array of baroque churches. For more information, click here.

Tui is the nearest Spanish town, just 15 minutes away from Yavanna. There is a 11th century Cathedral on top of the hill with Romanesque and Gothic elements. There is plenty of shopping and great tapa bars in Tui. For more information please click here.
